Under the term FAS Free Alongside Ship, the seller delivers when the goods are placed alongside the vessel at the named port of shipment. 買方義務：
Arrange and pay for sea freight and insurance.

FAS instance:
FAS Free Alongside Ship
The buyer in New Delhi is a smartphone assembler, purchasing $1,000,000 in smartphone tempered glass screen modules from the giant glass module manufacturer BIEL Crystal in China. If the shipment is FAS, the seller BIEL must deliver the goods to the point of loading indicated by the buyer at the Port of Hong Kong, where the goods will be shipped out. If both parties take FOB term for this shipment, the seller must also take responsibility for loading the goods onto the ship.
FAS is only available for ocean or inland waterway transportation. It is widely used with bulk cargo like oil or grain.
